[I began writing this post in January 2020 as I was going through the MasterClass. Just put the finishing touches on it this morning and finally publishing it now!] Last year for Christmas, I received an annual pass to masterclass.com as a gift that runs out on January 29th (next week). Therefore, as my main writing career focus, since I started working from MillHouse last week, I’ve been completing Margaret Atwood’s (author of The Handmaid’s Tale) course on creative writing. Tarot Tuesday: My Daily Spread

I started out doing my daily tarot reading at the beginning of the day, but then I would get excited and distracted by tarot and it would be harder to start writing. So, yesterday I tried a daily routine where I enjoy it as my hobby in the evening and I loved it! The DMG Daily Spread I lay these out as: card 1, then card 2 directly below 1, then card 3 to the right in a new column on its own and vertically centered. I release… anxiety

This morning, I did my Yoga with Adriene Yoga Camp Day 11 practice, for which the mantra was, “I release.” So I thought I’d share something I’ve been working on releasing during this shelter in place period: anxiety — and the stories I tell myself surrounding (and because of) anxious thoughts. Focus in the Present I’ve always been an overthinker. I actually came to think of it as being tied to my empathetic nature, because I can imagine and understand so many different perspectives, I’m constantly questioning how this person would respond if I said this, or how that person would react if I did that.
